We are excited to announce that we are looking for a new board member to join the Together Estranged community. This is a pivotal time for our small organization, to solidify our foundations, and to get a grip on how we will grow over the next five years.
As a consequence, we are looking for an experienced individual to join our board and support our interim Director to grow our people base. This person would join the organisation as a Board Member, and would work directly with the CEO on a special project to grow the Board and solidify our base of volunteers.
The organization is small, but with a crucial role to play within the family estrangement field - which is fast-growing in media attention. It is largely user-led and the voices of our community are crucial to us. The right candidate would have the ability to manage a board recruitment process, understand how to choose the right people for this stage of growth, and understand how to recruit to the values and priorities of the organization.
A background in people management and/or recruitment would be essential, as would be the time to lead the process. The opportunity would give the right candidate a lot of creativity and spaciousness, and also the chance to lead and shape our people strategy for the next five years.
