    Friendly Greeter Volunteer

    FRIENDLY GREETER ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    Support Braille Institute visitors and students by being that first in-person interaction which makes everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome, and like they are in good, capable, and knowledgeable hands.

    • Greeting every visitor warmly
    • Asking how you can be of assistance
    • Answering general questions about programs and services
    • Assisting with way-finding and giving verbal directions or escorting clients when needed
    • Assisting with simple tasks in the cafeteria in the mornings and at lunch
    • Identifying safety issues for staff to address
