    The Association for Community Awareness (ASCOA) is a dedicated charitable non-profit organization with head quarter in Cameroon and a branch in the USA. ASCOA prioritizes addressing critical issues such as environmental protection, peacebuilding, health, women's empowerment, and child protection. The organization's mission is to enhance the quality of life in underserved communities and promote sustainable development worldwide.

    Instructions:

    Role and Responsibilities:

    Leadership and Governance: Provide strategic

    leadership and oversight for ASCOA’s USA branch, ensuring alignment with the

    organization’s mission and goals. Participate in the development and

    implementation of policies that guide the organization's growth and impact.

    Fundraising and Resource Mobilization: Lead

    fundraising efforts, identify potential donors, and build relationships with

    funding bodies to secure financial resources for ASCOA's projects. This

    includes organizing fundraising events, grant writing, and donor engagement.

    Financial Oversight: Monitor and approve the

    financial management of the USA branch, ensuring that funds are utilized

    efficiently and transparently. Work closely with the financial officer to

    review budgets, financial statements, and audit reports.

    Advocacy and Networking: Represent ASCOA at

    public events, conferences, and in the media to promote the organization’s work

    and expand its network. Engage with other NGOs, government agencies, and

    community groups to build partnerships that advance ASCOA’s mission.

    Program Support and Evaluation: Oversee the

    implementation of ASCOA’s projects in the USA, ensuring they meet the

    organization's standards of quality and effectiveness. Work with the project

    team to evaluate the impact of initiatives and suggest improvements.

    Compliance and Legal Responsibility: Ensure that

    ASCOA’s USA branch operates in compliance with all relevant laws and

    regulations, including maintaining the organization’s 501(c)(3) status. Oversee

    risk management practices to protect the organization’s assets and reputation.
