    Discover your passions and make a difference! This service year opportunity for women serves vulnerable community members and at-risk families in Southern Orange County. Mission Hospital's Community Benefit team places a specific emphasis in dedicating resources to improve the health and quality of life for community members, especially those living on the margins.

    Job descriptions can be adjusted based on the interest, skills and talents of the St. Joseph Worker to meet her needs and those of the Placement Site

    The SJW will assist in responding to the greatest needs of South Orange County including mental health & substance use, immigration status and economic security. Projects may involve giving presentations, teaching classes, assisting with clinics, screenings and/or visiting and providing care for patients in the community.

    The SJW will support affiliated Family Resource Centers which provide parent, teen and child education classes, support groups, counseling services, and extend information/resources to community members. Ability to speak Spanish is preferred, but not required.
