About EmpowHERto:

Role Overview:
EmpowHERto FL is seeking a proactive and skilled volunteer People and Culture Specialist focusing on Recruiting and Interviewing. This role will be essential in attracting and selecting top talent to support the organization’s mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the organization.
- Create job postings and manage the recruitment process, including sourcing
- candidates, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and job
- requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, providing candidates with positive and professional experience.
- Collaborate with the coordinator to maintain and update the applicant tracking system and other recruitment databases.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and progress to the People and Culture team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, interviewing, or a related HR role.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Passion for promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
