    • Role Overview**

    The Regional Director will be a key leader in advancing TATT’s mission and vision within their assigned region. This volunteer position involves fostering partnerships, promoting initiatives, and ensuring the effective implementation of regional programs. The Regional Director will represent TATT in various forums, lead local projects, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to facilitate the professional, entrepreneurial, and economic transformation of the African diaspora.

    • Key Responsibilities**
    • Strategic Leadership**
    • Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with TATT’s global mission and vision.
    • Promote TATT’s values of trust, unity, collaboration, and impact within your region.
    • Represent TATT at regional events, conferences, and forums to raise awareness and advocate for development-driven solutions.
    • Partnership Development**
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key regional stakeholders, including government bodies, businesses, academic institutions, and NGOs.
    • Identify opportunities for collaboration that support TATT’s goal of fostering an interconnected global community.
    • Serve as a liaison between TATT’s leadership and regional partners to ensure the successful execution of joint initiatives.
    • Program Management**
    • Oversee the design, execution, and evaluation of regional projects and initiatives that drive professional, entrepreneurial, and economic transformation.
    • Lead regional teams of volunteers and ensure alignment with TATT’s objectives and values.
    • Support the development of new programs that address the specific needs and opportunities within your region.
    • Advocacy and Policy Influence**
    • Advocate for policies and initiatives that align with TATT’s mission of positive change and sustainable development.
    • Collaborate with TATT’s research team to contribute to policy recommendations and position papers relevant to the region.
    • Fundraising and Resource Mobilization**
    • Work closely with the Executive Director and development team to raise funds for regional activities.
    • Identify potential donors and secure resources to support TATT’s programs in your region.
    • Participate in the preparation and submission of grant proposals to support regional projects.
    • Reporting and Communication**
    • Provide regular updates to TATT’s leadership on regional progress, challenges, and achievements.
    • Contribute to regional reports, newsletters, and communication materials that highlight successes and promote TATT’s impact.
    • Qualifications & Skills**
    • Leadership**: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, preferably in non-profits, international development, policy advocacy, or social enterprises.
    • Networking**: Strong ability to build and maintain partnerships across sectors.
    • Project Management**: Expertise in overseeing the design and execution of impactful projects.
    • Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advocate and represent TATT in diverse forums.
    • Strategic Thinking**: Ability to think critically and strategically about regional challenges and opportunities.
    • Fundraising**: Experience in securing funding and managing resource mobilization.
    • Cultural Competence**: Deep understanding of Africa’s cultural diversity and development landscape.
