    Description

    The Advancement Lead and Grants Writer will work with Leadership to write grant proposals and reports with the goal of maintaining and expanding our funding for services.  The Advancement Lead will also track grant applications and awards; research and identify prospects for new funding; and engage in funder communications. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify potential grant opportunities using GrantStation and other resources.
    • Write compelling grant proposals, applications, and letters of interest that are tailored to the funder’s priorities and the requirements of each funding opportunity.
    • Collaborate with our team to gather relevant information and data to support grant proposals.
    • Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and outcomes.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong writing skills with the ability to compose clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals.
    • Excellent research skills to identify potential grant opportunities and to learn about diseases/health issues.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Consistent and professional communication skills 

    Bonus Skills:

    ·      Experience with writing grants

    ·      Knowledge of health/ medical terminology 

    ·      Experience working in a global setting or with people of diverse backgrounds.
