Impact Storyteller/Visualization Volunteer

The World Disaster Center (WDC) has successfully completed the pilot implementation of our flagship solution, Michael—a global disaster monitoring and alert system. Our recent 30-day mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) resulted in comprehensive daily newsletters documenting our findings, activities, and impact.

We are now looking for a passionate Impact Storyteller and Visualization Expert to help us transform this content into compelling stories and visuals that will support our fundraising and outreach efforts.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Storytelling: Craft inspiring narratives that highlight WDC’s mission, achievements, and impact to engage potential donors and partners.
• Data Visualization: Collaborate with our team to create infographics, reports, and visual content that effectively communicate key insights.
• Research & Content Development: Gather supporting data, case studies, and testimonials to enhance the storytelling process.
• Audience Engagement: Tailor content for different platforms and audiences to maximize outreach and engagement.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Strong writing skills with a passion for storytelling.
• Experience in creating visual content such as infographics, reports, and presentations.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with researchers and graphic designers.
• Commitment of 2-3 hours per day for a 2-week period.
