    Description

    Volunteer Tutors Needed!

Access Youth Academy is a non-profit after-school program dedicated to assisting underserved, low-income middle and high school students in San Diego County. The program offers training in squash and pickleball, along with various academic enhancement opportunities such as tutoring, academic check-ins, and college advising support. The ultimate goal is to equip students with the resources needed to apply to and graduate from a 4-year college or university. This mission is achieved by empowering youth through a blend of academic assistance, community service, and sports.

Access Youth Academy is in need of tutors for various subjects at the middle to high school levels, including Math (Pre-Calc, Calc, Stats, Algebra, etc.), Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.), English/Humanities, History, and Spanish. We are seeking volunteers who can dedicate their time to tutor students in person on at least three weekdays (between Monday to Thursday) each month from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Since our program is conducted in person, we seek tutors who are available to meet and tutor students at our facility in Southeast San Diego (704 Euclid Ave, San Diego, CA 92114).

As a program dedicated to supporting students throughout San Diego, we are convinced that our volunteer tutors play a vital role in expanding and complementing our efforts to assist students in reaching academic success. Come alongside us to make a difference in the lives of young individuals! Consider becoming a tutor for Access Youth Academy!
