About us:

GSSYA (Global Share Support Youth Association) is a non-profit organization focused on enhancing the skill and lifestyle development of young individuals and building a multicultural community to promote personal and professional growth. GSSYA creates a foundation for youth to build their leadership and communication skills and provides free tutoring to support kids in their education, employment, career development, and mental health. 

Purpose:

 In this role, you will be responsible for raising funds for GSSYA by generating ideas, creating plans and executing them. In addition, to increase the awareness of GSSYA will be working with other leader teams to design promotional materials.

Furthermore, the fundraiser role is an important role at GSSYA as it includes raising funds to enhance the GSSYA website and utilizing the funds to better support the students. 

Welcome to the tutor and leadership program in GSSYA tutoring program, you will get experience and volunteer hours, certificate, reference letter, you have lots of choice both online tutoring and in person events.

Experience:

• Previous on-the-job fundraiser experience is an asset
• Very good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Exceptional organization and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to use good judgment in assessing difficult situations
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Knowledge of general office practices, procedures and standards
