Raw Earth Foundation is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Designer to help communicate our mission through compelling visual content. The ideal candidate will design and produce a variety of materials, including graphics for campaigns, promotional content, and brand visuals, to inspire community engagement and support for our environmental initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design visually appealing and on-brand graphics for social media, email campaigns, website, print
- materials, and advertisements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials for fundraising campaigns,
- events, and educational initiatives.
- Develop templates for recurring content, such as newsletters and social media posts, ensuring
- consistency in style and branding.
- Assist in designing graphics and visual content for digital ads, including for platforms like Facebook,
- Instagram, and Google Ads.
- Create visuals for video content, such as title slides, lower thirds, and end screens.
- Support the creation of infographics and charts for reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Work with the web development team to ensure cohesive visuals on digital platforms.
- Stay updated on design trends and tools to deliver engaging and modern content.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
- Experience designing for both digital and print mediums.
- Strong understanding of branding principles and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in environmental or nonprofit marketing.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their design requirements.
- Basic understanding of user experience (UX) and web design principles.
Commitment:
5-10 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate deadlines. Most tasks can be done remotely,
though occasional virtual team meetings may be required.
