Kindred, a dynamic nonprofit dedicated to capturing and elevating the pivotal moments that define the human experience through cinema, is committed to fostering deeper connections and celebrating diversity. Each frame we craft is infused with our collective vision: to give audiences an emotional journey that reaffirms the power of their lives and amplifies underrepresented voices. Through our pioneering approach, we aim to inspire unity and uphold ideals of equality, peace, and coexistence—one transformative moment at a time.

    • Community Advocate: Do you possess a passion for fostering inclusive communities and empowering individuals?
    • Entrepreneurial Experience: Have you successfully navigated the challenges of early-stage nonprofits or entrepreneurial ventures?

    Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Leadership: Work closely with the board to establish goals and strategies that advance our mission of capturing pivotal human experiences through cinema.
    • Organizational Growth: Drive sustainable growth by overseeing operations, fundraising, and resource allocation.
    • Community Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the community to enhance our impact on promoting unity and equality.
    • Advocacy and Representation: Act as the public face of Kindred, advocating for our mission and values in various forums.
    • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient resource management, regulatory compliance, and transparent governance.

    Requirements:

    • Commitment: Dedicate approximately 10 hours per week to the role, with flexibility for evening and weekend commitments as needed.
    • Leadership Experience: Demonstrate a proven track record in nonprofit management, including strategic planning, fundraising, and team leadership.
    • Visionary Thinking: Exhibit the ability to innovate and adapt to changing environments while focusing on long-term goals.
    • Community Building Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships and inspire collaboration.
    • Passion for Inclusion: Show commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, both within Kindred and in the broader community.

Join us in shaping a future where community engagement drives positive change. Apply today to lead Kindred toward greater impact and inclusivity.
