    Description

    The DOMH serves as the primary liaison between the foundation and other agencies in the mental health continuum (e.g., state hospital, community case management, foster care homes, etc.) and adhere to the foundations code of ethics and complies with the state mental health code.

    Responsibilities

    1. Cultivate excellent relationships within the Mental Health community to support EGF
    2. Advise on panelist for seminars
    3. Work with the Advisory Board to develop a rolodex of Behavioral Health professions internally and externally
    4. Cultivate excellent relationships with local media; provide oversight for EGF’s presence in the social media
    5. Reach out to the community to present EGF, its vision and services through public presentations and by attending relevant business events, conferences and gatherings
    6. Perform other duties as required or assigned

    Skills/Qualifications

    • B.A. in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Public Health, or similar field; Master’s degree preferred.
    • Current professional licensure
    • Must have an understanding of community mental health services, rehabilitation concepts, and the Recover Philosophy.
    • Knowledge of mental illness, dual diagnosis, and evidenced based treatment options
    • Knowledge of crisis intervention
    • 10-15 hours per month commitment to EGF
