    Get involved in your community and make a difference! The volunteer applicant needs to be available from Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 5: 00 PM. More information will be given by the program manager!

    Teaching Commitment:

    8-week program, 2 hours, 1 day per week

    Information about the volunteer program:

    A Matter of Balance program is a program designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels among older adults.

    Participants/seniors will learn to:

    • View falls as controllable
    • Set goals for increasing activity
    • Make changes to reduce fall risk at home
    • Exercise to increase strength and balance
