    Description

    *This volunteer position is up to 10 hours per week

    Overview:

    Seeking a skilled volunteer to maintain and repair our small RV fleet, or schedule and transport to vendors for maintenance and repair, ensuring they are fully operational for our mobile dental services for Western Washington.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Routine Maintenance: Inspect and perform or schedule preventive maintenance (oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements). Drive Class A RV’s.

    Repairs:

    Diagnose and repair or schedule with appropriate shop mechanical issues, coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs.

    Safety Checks:

    Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.

    Fleet Management:

    Schedule maintenance, track service schedules, and manage inventory of tools and parts.

    Documentation:

    Maintain logs of maintenance and repairs, update reports.

    Training:

    Provide basic training on maintenance and safety procedures to other volunteers and staff.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in vehicle maintenance
    • Knowledge of RV mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
    • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
    • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • Able to drive 40’ RV
