Public Relations Team Leader

Her Nexx Chapter (HNC) is a 501(c)3 organization that provides an immersive virtual platform consisting of programs that connect, mentor and nurture women through their journey in life by providing access to certified life coaches, mentors and subject matter experts.

Her Nexx Chapter is looking for a Public Relations Team Leader who can assist with cultivating our story to portray and build our brand and awareness. This team will be assisting in growing, shaping, and maintaining the organization’s reputation and brand. This individual will be responsible for identifying media opportunities, maintaining existing media relations, and promoting positive public awareness of the company through external communications.

Responsibilities: (Remote Volunteer) Hours Flexible

• Assist with the development of new initiatives that focus on proactive media placement through print and online press releases as well as a variety of media channels (i.e., podcasts, television/radio).
• Work with the Events Team to successfully promote, coordinate and execute the organization’s quarterly fundraising efforts.
• Interface with Marketing & Editorial with an understanding of all social media platforms
• Virtual Opportunity - Can be performed from anywhere

Requirements:

• Experience in Public Relations, Communications and/or Media Relations
• Innovative and creative with attention to detail, research skills and multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead and mentor a committee of volunteers
• Ability to run PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives
• Develop and manage a wide variety of communications, campaigns and events via our various platforms.
