Overview
The Education Chair is responsible for professional development programming, focused on building new skills and navigating through the design industry. They serve as a liaison between AIGA National, AIGA DC, and universitys’ Student Groups and their Faculty Advisors. They should engage students, educators, young designers, and transitioning designers to understand important program topics.
This role will also lead the annual Creative Review, where students, emerging, and transitioning designers are encouraged to participate to get their portfolio reviewed by a selection of seasoned, professional designers.
