    Volunteer Venture Capital and Angel Network Fundraising Specialist

    Commitment: 6 to 8 hours per month

    Location: Remote/Virtual (Preference for volunteers located in San Bernardino County and Riverside County, California)

    Overview:

    ONE i/e, a 501c-3 nonprofit, is dedicated to empowering nonprofit leaders and entrepreneurs through education, networking, and resources. We are seeking a volunteer fundraising specialist with access to venture capital firms and angel networks to pursue funding opportunities for mentoring and workshops. This role involves identifying and securing investments from entities interested in supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs through related nonprofits.

    Responsibilities:

    • Networking: Utilize existing connections and networks to identify potential venture capital firms and angel investors interested in supporting entrepreneurship and education.
    • Research: Search for funding opportunities from venture capital firms and angel networks that align with ONE i/e's mission.
    • Proposal Development: Tailor proposals to each firm's or network's specific giving priorities and geographic focus.
    • Application Submission: Prepare and submit funding applications to venture capital firms and angel networks.
    • Collaboration: Work with the ONE i/e team to gather necessary information and ensure proposals align with organizational goals.
    • Tracking: Monitor and report on the status of submitted funding applications.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in fundraising, particularly with venture capital firms and angel networks.
    • Strong research skills to identify potential funding opportunities.
    • Excellent written communication skills to craft compelling and persuasive funding proposals.
    • Ability to tailor proposals to specific giving priorities and geographic focus.
    • Access to networks within venture capital firms and angel investor communities.
    • Ability to commit 6 to 8 hours per month to fundraising activities.
    • Preference for volunteers located in San Bernardino County and Riverside County, California.
