The Howard County Conservancy is seeking adult Volunteer Naturalists (Hike Leaders) to guide nature walks for students grades K-12 during the fall field trip season. We provide the training; the only requirements are a passion for nature, a desire to share your knowledge of the natural world with children, and daytime availability for field trips.

Volunteers will need to complete a volunteer application, submit a copy of their driver's license (for insurance purposes), and complete a background check in order to work with children. The Volunteer Coordinator will provide instructions on how to proceed.
