    Description

    Special Events Volunteer

The All Stars Project (ASP) is a national, independently funded, non-profit founded in 1981. Our mission is to transform the lives of youth from poor and underserved communities in partnership with caring adults, giving everyone the opportunity to grow, building community by bridging racial, economic, and social divisions to develop a caring 21st Century America.

The All Stars Project of Chicago has touched the lives of over 35,000 young people in neighborhoods hit hardest by violence in the South and West Sides. We celebrate and build our communities through the All Stars Talent Show Network and the Development School for Youth.

Through the All Stars Talent Show Network, young people perform in and produce talent shows in their neighborhoods.

Our Development School for Youth helps young people learn to perform as professionals through partnering with business leaders who conduct development workshops and provide paid summer internships at their companies.

We are always looking for volunteers to support these special events and programming. A Special Events Volunteer is a great role for someone who has a demanding schedule and is passionate about providing opportunities for the growth and personal development of our youth in poor and disinvested neighborhoods.

Hours are ongoing, varied, and flexible. For more information or to schedule an orientation please fill out this form or contact:
