Volunteer Board Member (Marketing/PR/Business Focus)

FEAST is a nonprofit promoting community health through nutrition education, food access, and emotional support. We empower families and individuals to achieve health equity and lasting well-being.

Position Overview

FEAST is seeking a board member with expertise in marketing, public relations, or business. This individual will play a vital role in growing awareness of FEAST’s mission in Los Angeles and supporting our small team with development efforts, including event and campaign ideation, as well as marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Attend quarterly board meetings.
• Support development efforts by contributing ideas for fundraising campaigns and events.
• Help shape marketing strategies to elevate FEAST’s visibility.
• Provide expertise in marketing, PR, or business to amplify outreach efforts.
• Meet an annual $5,000 give-get commitment.
• Contribute 3-5 hours per month to board activities.

Ideal Candidate

• Professional background in marketing, PR, or business development.
• Passion for growing awareness of health equity and food justice.
• Experience in event planning or campaign ideation is a plus.
• Enthusiastic about using their skills to drive FEAST’s mission and impact.
