R.A.I.N. VOLUNTEERS WANTED!
R.A.I.N. provides services to home bound Seniors in the Bronx Community. The program provides support and companionship to seniors to connect them to their community.
A weekly hour visit, to chat, play cards or take a walk through the neighborhood can really make a difference.
R.A.I.N. continues to remain committed to it’s mission as it expands services to minimize social isolation of older adults through our volunteer program.
Requirements:
- Age 18 and over
- Fluent in Spanish
- Kind and compassionate
- Able to make a 6 month commitment

How to Apply
- Visit or speak to a older adult for 1 hour per week, for at least 6 months
- Communicate with Friendly Visiting Coordinator about the visits with the senior and provide monthly data
- Must be able to provide 2 personal references
- Must have photo ID
- Must be age 18 or older
- Must speak Spanish
Opportunities to volunteer between 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday - Sunday.
