Volunteer Opportunity: Join the Local Advisory Committee at the Center for Peace through Culture

The Center for Peace through Culture (CPC) is seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our Local Advisory Committee. This vital group will help ensure that our programming remains inclusive, reflective of diverse perspectives, and deeply connected to the community we serve.

As a member of the Local Advisory Committee, you will work alongside our recently appointed local board members and a diverse group of community leaders to provide valuable insights and guidance on CPC’s direction. The committee will play a key role in the planning and facilitation of meetings, ensuring that all voices are heard and represented in our decision-making process.

Key responsibilities include supporting fundraising and development efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of CPC, as well as helping execute outreach strategies and community engagement initiatives. The committee will actively contribute to the success of our high-impact fundraising drives and will be an essential resource for strengthening CPC’s connection with the Housatonic community and beyond.

Through regular meetings and collaboration, the Local Advisory Committee will provide important on-the-ground feedback that will help guide CPC’s programs, initiatives, and overall direction, ensuring they align with the local needs and priorities.
