    Description

Volunteer On-Camera Educator: Digital Literacy & Scam Awareness (Remote)

    Position: Volunteer On-Camera Educator

    Location: Remote (Work from anywhere)

Hours: Flexible (2–20 hours/week, you choose your schedule)

    Position Type: Volunteer

    About Us:

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with digital literacy and scam awareness. As part of our mission, we are creating free educational content that will be shared with our clients through social media and our learning hub. We are looking for energetic, positive individuals who enjoy being in front of the camera and want to make a meaningful impact by sharing their knowledge. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Record short tutorial videos (5–15 minutes) on important topics, such as scam awareness and digital literacy.
    • Use a script provided by our team (but feel free to contribute your ideas or help with material creation!).
    • Each video will be accompanied by downloadable PDF guides that we’ll create to help users follow along and further enhance their learning.
    • These videos will be shared on our social media platforms and website.
    • As a volunteer, you’ll gain valuable experience presenting on camera, build your portfolio, and receive a letter of reference from our nonprofit organization.

    Why You Should Apply:

    • Flexible hours: Whether you have 2 hours or 20 hours a week, you can work around your schedule.
    • On-camera experience: Build your experience presenting in front of the camera and feel confident doing it.
    • Content that matters: Create educational content that will help people stay safe online, protect their privacy, and avoid scams.
    • Great for your portfolio: Use the videos for your portfolio to showcase your skills.
    • Letter of reference: Receive a letter of reference that will strengthen your professional profile.

You’re free to use whatever equipment you have on hand—whether it’s a smartphone, laptop, webcam, or anything else. You can record from any setting that works for you, whether at home or outside. And don’t worry about formal attire—clean, casual clothing (think a t-shirt or business casual) is totally appropriate. The goal is for your audience to relate to you!

We are looking for 3–4 volunteers to help create these impactful videos. Whether you can dedicate a couple of hours a week or more, we welcome volunteers of all availability!
