    Description

    Teatown Garden Club Autumn Edition

    This Garden Club meetup will take place at Cliffdale Farm, where we’ll focus on preparing the pollinator garden for new native plantings in anticipation of one of our largest volunteer days of the year.

    Garden Club is a weekly volunteer meet-up focused on our ecological stewardship efforts. There will be opportunity to assist in varied habitats and areas of Teatown campus including Wild Flower Island, our propagation garden, and Cliffdale Farm.

    Tasks may include invasive species removal-pulling, cutting, digging up herbaceous and woody invasive plants, native plant propagation- seed collection, seed starting, potting up seedlings, planting natives. Mulching, watering and general maintenance to help bring our demonstration garden to fruition. Be prepare to get your hands dirty, connect with your local flora and have fun!
