The Consumer Advocate Program is part of the Financial Fraud/Consumer Protection Section (FF/CP) of the Oregon Department of Justice. FF/CP enforces the Oregon Unlawful Trade Practices Act. The morning shift is from 8:30 - 12:30 and the afternoon shift is from 12:30-4:30. The office is located at 2250 McGilchrist St. SE, Salem, OR 97302.

Each volunteer sits in their own 6x6 cubicle within a larger volunteer room. Hand sanitizer is provided at each desk and sanitizing wipes are available. Each volunteer is provided with their own headsets and an air purifier is in use all day. Masks are available if desired; hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the building.
