What’s the Mission?

Project Green Haven aims to combat food insecurity, reduce urban heat, and promote environmental consciousness through urban gardening. Volunteers will collaborate with local residents to design, plant, and maintain gardens, while educating communities on sustainable living.

Our goal is to create resilient, green cities and empower communities to grow their own food while preserving biodiversity. 🌎🌸

Volunteer Roles and Activities:

• 🌱 Garden Designer: Assist in designing eco-friendly urban gardens using sustainable techniques.
• 🥕 Urban Farming Coach:Teach communities how to grow vegetables, herbs, and fruits in limited spaces.
• ♻️ Sustainability Advocate: Conduct workshops on composting, water conservation, and organic farming.
• 🌺 Eco-Artist: Lead creative projects like mural painting or garden sculptures to beautify green spaces.
• 📚 Community Educator: Raise awareness about the benefits of urban gardening and sustainable practices.

What You’ll Do:

• Build rooftop, vertical, or community gardens in urban neighborhoods.
• Teach families how to care for their plants and harvest fresh produce.
• Organize eco-friendly events, like seed swaps and garden tours.
• Collaborate with schools to introduce gardening programs for kids.
• Promote waste-to-resource techniques, like composting and recycling.

Volunteer Fee

To support the project’s sustainability, there’s a $600 fee per volunteer. This fee covers:

✅ Comfortable accommodation in an eco-friendly guesthouse.

✅ Daily meals made with fresh, local ingredients.

✅ Tools and materials for garden construction and workshops.

✅ On-ground transportation and project logistics.

✅ Full-time support from our friendly team.

What You’ll Need to Bring:

• Sturdy shoes and gloves for gardening work.
• Reusable water bottle and eco-friendly items (we’re all about sustainability!).
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a love for green spaces! 💚

When Does it Start:

The project runs year-round! Volunteer for 1–12 weeks—flexible start dates available.
