The Board supports the work of Arkansas Asset Builders and provides mission-based leadership and strategic governance. In addition to providing oversight, board members directly support the mission of Arkansas Asset Builders by raising awareness and financial support for the organization. While day-to-day operations are led by our Executive Director, the Board-ED relationship is a partnership and the appropriate involvement of the Board is both critical and expected.

Arkansas Asset Builders’s board members will serve a two-year term, eligible for re-appointment for additional terms. Board members will be expected to attend and participate in meetings on a regular basis, and special events as able.
Board meetings will be held quarterly in Conway at 6:30pm on the second Thursday of the month in August, November, February, and May. Meetings typically last 90 minutes. Virtual attendance options are also available.
Committee meetings are generally held virtually 2-3 times per quarter, pending their respective work agenda. Committee meetings typically last less than 60 minutes. The board also schedules an annual half-day retreat on a Saturday in late August/early September TBD.
