    Description

Volunteer at the 45th annual Festival for the Eno!

The Festival for the Eno really is that, a festival FOR the Eno. It's not just fun and sun and music and water and food and things to buy. It's a huge fundraiser for the Eno River Association, whose mission is to conserve and protect the natural, historical, and cultural resources of the Eno River basin.

I’ve met hundreds of Eno volunteers and all of them have wowed me. They’ve wowed me with their compassion and kindness, their flexibility, their willingness to donate additional time and recruit others. Most importantly, they’ve wowed me with their dedication to the mission of the ERA.

These are the folks who set up the tents, inventory our stock, deliver all the supplies, train the volunteers, keep tabs on them throughout the festival, and help break it all down at the end. We have behind-the-scenes volunteers for ticket booths, trash free, the beer tent, and merchandise. All of that is run by volunteers!

Would you like to be a part of this family? You can do anything from helping us set up the site to selling beer, monitoring parking to selling tickets, facilitating nearly zero waste to selling t-shirts! Join us by registering for one or multiple volunteer shifts at the festival.

Please sign up. Please ask your friends to sign up. You get a free raffle ticket to if you work at least five hours over the two-day festival.

FYI, Trash Free Station Monitor shifts are our hardest to fill. People get intimidated by the name and think they'll have to spend a day digging through trash. In reality, you get to spend the day talking with people and educating them on how the festival keeps 97% of our waste OUT of landfills. If you sign up for two TF Station Monitor shifts, you'll get your raffle ticket and a free t-shirt!

    See you at the River!
