    Description

    Mt. Tamalpais Trail Stewardship with Marin Water

    Trail stewardship is an excellent way to leave your mark and make a beneficial change on the watershed for future generations of hikers, bikers, and all nature lovers. Volunteer today and help preserve our watershed for decades to come!

    This trail crew day will primarily involve dirt work including, water bar cleaning, tread maintenance and minor out sloping. The day will start with a safety talk & project overview at 10:00 a.m. and then we will hike to the site. Our route for the day could be up to 3 miles round trip carrying equipment and personal packs so please be prepared for a hike. Meet at the Lake Lagunitas picnic area.

    All experience levels are welcome, whether you are a complete beginner to trail work or a professional. With that said trail events are suitable for ages 13 and up. Parental supervision is required for volunteers under age 16.

    RSVP IS REQUIRED! All first-time volunteers must also sign our Volunteer Service Agreement, and all volunteers under 18 must have the form signed by a parent or guardian. This event is limited to 15 people.

    Parking passes, tools, gloves, snacks and water are provided to volunteers. Lunch is NOT provided. Please dress for variable weather and bring a water bottle and lunch.
