    Description

    The Primary Aldosteronism Foundation is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to serve on its Governing Board and help oversee its Patient Discovery program. As Board member, you will play a crucial role in guiding the organization's efforts to achieve its mission. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your leadership, expertise, and passion to drive the success of the organization’s transformative programs.

    Board Responsibilities

    Provide strategic guidance and financial oversight to ensure fiscal responsibility, compliance with regulations, and overall sustainability and growth of the organization.

    Leverage personal and professional networks to expand the organization’s reach and influence, and to identify potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities.

    Contribute to decision-making by participating in Board and committee meetings as well as ad hoc working sessions.

    Program Responsibilities

    Advise on stakeholders’ relations to promote the adoption by health systems of an AI-based model to find individuals at high risk for primary aldosteronism.

    Advise on model implementation with a focus on:

    • Knowledge translation and sharing of standards of care,
    • Capacity building to improve quality of care, and promote surveillance and benchmarking.

    Qualifications

    Academic background and/or professional experience in the areas of health services administration and health information systems.

    Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, and experience developing and implementing organizational strategies and goals.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with successful track record of collaboration with diverse healthcare stakeholders.

    Time commitment and availability to actively participate in board meetings, committee meetings, and ad hoc sessions.
