AVC is seeking adventurous professional and senior volunteers ready commit 2 weeks to one year of their time and energy and put it into use! Previous volunteers have authored reports on human rights; published articles; taught languages; supported university career centers; modernized classrooms; created policy papers on cervical cancer; provided medical support; trained medical professionals; consulted on thermal engineering, developed hiking manuals; managed IT projects; written employee handbooks; supported women; mentored youth; cared for the elderly; and much more. What will YOU do?

Who are we? The Armenian Volunteer Corps (AVC) is Armenia’s premier full-service internship and volunteer placement organization. If you are ready for a life-altering service experience, then AVC is for you!

We provide volunteers with individually customized placements, year-round at one more of our 1,600+ partner organizations in Armenia, a beautiful landlocked country in the South Caucasus known for its hospitality. How? By looking at each volunteer’s individual interests and background and matching those with our partner needs. Our partner organizations cover practically all sectors: business, education, environment, culture, health, government, NGOs, and many more.

In addition to customized placements, AVC provides logistical support from airport pick-up, to host-family living arrangements, Armenian language classes, and much more, helping volunteers to seamlessly integrate into life in Armenia.
