Description: We're seeking an organized and enthusiastic unpaid volunteer Stage Manager to be the backbone of an upcoming production. As Stage Manager, you'll be the director's right hand and the cast's guiding light, ensuring smooth operations from rehearsal to final curtain. This vital role connects the creative vision with practical execution, keeping our production on track while fostering a positive, safe, professional environment for all involved.

Requirements:

• During the production's run: Be available for evening rehearsals 2-3 times weekly, with daily attendance required the week before the show's opening
• Present for all performances
• Detailed documentation skills: recording blocking notes and maintaining accurate attendance records
• Leadership abilities to coordinate and recruit backstage volunteer teams during technical rehearsals and performances
• English literacy for clear communication and note-taking
• Physical capability to move furniture and props during rehearsals and shows
• Exceptional organizational skills and reliability
• Professional yet kind approach to volunteer management
• Eagerness to learn and adaptability
• Personal transportation to venues
