Volunteer Front Desk Associate

Are you passionate about history and eager to contribute to your community? The Mesa Historical Museum is seeking dedicated and friendly individuals to join our team as Volunteer Front Desk Associates.

Responsibilities:

•Greet and welcome guests with a warm and inviting demeanor.

•Manage admissions and handle cash transactions.

•Ring up sales and assist customers in the gift shop.

•Restock gift shop items as needed.

•Answer phone calls and provide information to callers.

• Assist with other duties as assigned by the museum staff.

Shifts Available:

•Half-day shifts: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

•Full-day shifts: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Availability:

•Tuesdays through Saturdays

• Volunteers can commit to as many days as their schedule allows.

Requirements:

•Friendly and approachable personality.

•Good communication and customer service skills.

•Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

• Interest in local history and museum operations is a plus.
