    Description:

    We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Biology Teacher assistant ( Volunteer) to join our team and provide expert instruction to students studying the microscopic structure of tissues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in histology and excellent teaching skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Participate in lectures to support the lead instructor and engage with students.
    • Lead small group sessions on specific biology topics to enhance student understanding.
    • Organize and set up teaching materials for labs and classroom activities.
    • Provide dedicated time for students to ask questions and seek help.
    • Track student performance and report any concerns to the lead instructor.
    • Create or adapt instructional materials and resources to support diverse learning needs in the classroom.
    • Encourage student participation and collaboration during discussions and group activities to enhance peer learning.

    Qualifications:

    • Proficient knowledge of high school-level biology concepts is essential for effective teaching and student engagement.
    • Previous teaching or tutoring experience demonstrates the ability to adapt instructional methods to diverse learning needs.
    • A degree in biology or a related field is preferred, ensuring a strong foundation in biological sciences.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for clearly explaining concepts and facilitating discussions.
    • Excellent organizational skills are important for managing classroom activities and preparing teaching materials.
