About VIBE

VIBE (Venice Institute of Boundless Expression) is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to providing free, immersive, and culturally diverse artistic experiences for Los Angeles youth. Our mission is to break down barriers to the arts, fostering creativity, education, and self-expression. We create community-driven programs that introduce young people to the arts through workshops, exhibitions, field trips, and mentorship opportunities.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Volunteer Project Coordinator to help manage and execute our programs and events.

Role Overview

The Project Coordinator will support the planning and execution of VIBE’s programs, ensuring smooth logistics, coordination with artists and community partners, and effective communication with participants. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, passionate about the arts, and eager to gain hands-on nonprofit experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of programs, events, and workshops.
• Manage timelines, logistics, and scheduling for events and activities.
• Serve as the point of contact for artists, educators, volunteers, and community partners.
• Support outreach efforts to engage youth participants and promote programming.
• Help track and document program outcomes, participant feedback, and event success.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure programs run smoothly and align with VIBE’s mission.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in event coordination, project management, or arts programming is a plus.
• Passion for the arts, youth development, and community engagement.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, project management tools, or social media is a plus.
