Are you an RN or APRN looking for a meaningful way to give back to the community? At Lakeland Volunteers In Medicine, a free medical clinic, we are able to dispense medications at no cost to our patients through a state-approved dispensary license. This special license allows licensed RNs and APRNs to serve in a role similar to that of a pharmacist—reviewing, preparing, and dispensing prescriptions under our clinical protocols.
We are currently seeking RN and APRN volunteers to assist in this capacity. You do not need prior pharmacy experience—we’ll provide training and support. This is a flexible and rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients who otherwise would go without essential medications.
