Volunteer Financial Analyst/Consultant Opportunity

Creative Emajinations is a charity dedicated to providing arts access to underserved youth. We are undertaking several ambitious community development projects, including a multi-use creative space. To ensure our next round of funding is successful, we need a dedicated financial professional to guide us through creating a comprehensive, long-term financial plan.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a volunteer Financial Analyst or Consultant to help us develop a 3-10 year pro forma budget and financial forecast for our organization. The volunteer will play a crucial role in itemizing project costs and ensuring financial sustainability, working alongside our team throughout this journey as we aim to secure funding for our community projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a 3-10 year financial model for our projects, incorporating potential revenue, expenses, and growth forecasts
• Prepare a detailed pro forma budget to ensure financial health and clarity for funders
• Advise on federal or state incentives (e.g., NMTC, historic tax credits), incorporating them into the financial forecast
• Work closely with our team to ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Assist in preparing for the next round of funding with a detailed and strategic financial plan

Qualifications:

• Experience in financial analysis or consulting, particularly in non-profits or community development
• Knowledge of tax credits, federal or state incentives, and long-term budgeting
• Strong financial modeling skills
• A passion for supporting community-driven projects and a willingness to volunteer time and expertise
