    Volunteer Coordinator

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a passionate and organized individual to serve as a Volunteer Coordinator. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and supporting our volunteer team to ensure they have a meaningful and impactful experience while helping us achieve our mission.

    Responsibilities:

      • Recruitment and Onboarding:
      • Develop and implement strategies to recruit new volunteers.
      • Organize and conduct volunteer orientations and training sessions.
      • Scheduling and Coordination:
      • Create and maintain volunteer schedules to meet organizational needs.
      • Assign tasks and roles to volunteers based on their skills and interests.
      • Support and Communication:
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, addressing questions and concerns.
      • Provide ongoing support, motivation, and recognition to volunteers.
      • Data Management:
      • Maintain accurate records of volunteer applications, hours, and activities.
      • Prepare reports on volunteer engagement and program outcomes.
      • Event Support:
      • Coordinate volunteer involvement in special events, campaigns, and outreach efforts.
      • Ensure volunteers are prepared and equipped to represent the organization effectively.
      • Program Development:
      • Assist in developing and improving volunteer policies and procedures.

    Identify opportunities for volunteers to contribute meaningfully to the organization.Qualifications:

      • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
      • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
      • Passion for the mission of Project Jeremiah 29:11 and a commitment to making a difference.
      • Prior experience in volunteer management or nonprofit work is a plus but not required.
