    AIGA's DC chapter seeks an Executive Project Coordinator to join the Board of Directors.

    Join the dynamic AIGA DC board, a team of 20+ volunteers driving local programming and communications for creatives in the vibrant DMV region! It’s your chance to shape and uplift the creative community, gaining leadership skills, making connections, and enjoying the company of an amazing group of passionate volunteers—all while attending AIGA DC events for free!

    Overview

    The Executive Project Coordinator drives long-term initiatives to define and maintain board processes that span across teams. The coordinator creates lean, organized systems and practices to enable board cohesion and continuity. The Executive Project Coordinator is a member of the Executive Team and reports to the Vice President.

    General

    • Drive the creation and evolution of board initiatives, including:
      • Hybrid event technology and processes
      • Project management and database system research and maintenance
      • Event, photography, and video archiving
      • Strategy and execution for the AIGA DC Slack
    • Responsible for creating team-building and bonding opportunities for the board, including supporting logistics for monthly meetings and annual planning retreats
    • Additional duties as assigned by the Executive Team

    Deliverables

    • Organize 2 to 3 team-building events a year for the board
    • A well-researched strategy for CRM and project management systems; updating the strategy continually as needed
    • Create and maintain a digital asset management system for AIGA DC event, photography, and video files
    • Annual AIGA DC DEI Slack strategy and execution in partnership with AIGA DC board members
