The following organizational values guide the Welcome Project:

    • Constituent Drive: We (staff and board) value a bottom-up approach that actively respects, encourages, listens to, and responds to the voices of the immigrant community on issues that are important to them.
    • Shared Power: We believe in collaborating with one another, our constituents, and other stakeholders to maximize our impact and accomplish more than we can do to achieve our mission.
    • Self-Determination & Community Change: We believe in promoting and building immigrant autonomy and leadership, enabling immigrants to take charge of their own lives,  and encouraging systemic change in the broader community.
