    Description

Create handmade Valentine's Day cards for children with rare medical conditions

CC4C works to enhance the quality of life for children with rare and undiagnosed medical conditions.

You can help bring a smile to the face of a CC4C child by creating hand-made personalized Valentine's Day cards. You do not need to be an artist! This is an opportunity for anyone who wants to help.

Details are available on the Project Valentine signup and on the volunteer page of our website but key points are:

    1. Cards should include Valentine's Day wishes only. These are NOT “get well” cards and should not reference the child’s diagnosis or medical situation.
    2. If you make multiple cards for more than one child, please give them to us pre-sorted (ie, paper-clipped or rubber-banded together).
    3. After you make your cards, please let us know how much time you spent by filling out our Volunteer Hours Form. It helps us with annual reporting if we can show how much time volunteers share with us each year. The link is here: Volunteer Hours Form

We will sign hours verifications for volunteers who need it for school or work organizations. There is a limit of 5 hours of credit per month per volunteer for this project. If you need hours verified, please email a photo of your cards along with the verification form to aahmann@cc4c.org. We do NOT sign verifications for court-mandated volunteer hours.
