    Description

    Looking for someone to donate 3-5 hours weekly

    The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing a social media strategy that raises awareness about sexual violence and trafficking, engages supporters and the public, and drives action to support the Bianca Modo Foundation's mission. This includes creating and curating compelling content (Canva), managing the organization's social media channels, and collaborating with the storytelling team to ensure strategic alignment.

    Key Activities:

    • Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and values of empowering survivors and preventing sexual violence
    • Create and curate compelling, trauma-informed content that raises awareness about sexual violence and trafficking and inspires action and support
    • Manage the organization's social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and ensure regular posting and engagement
    • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media in a timely and sensitive manner, prioritizing the safety and well-being of survivors
    • Collaborate with the new media ecologist to stay up-to-date on emerging social media trends and technologies and identify opportunities to expand the organization's reach and impact
