    Description

    Fundraising Manager

    The Fundraising Manager will develop fundraising strategies, create relationships with donors, collaborate closely with the marketing team and Program Directors, research and write grant proposals, and plan small and large-scale events and other initiatives to aid fundraising opportunities while staying within budget limitations. The position also includes researching and writing grant proposals. This is a remote, volunteer position.

    Fundraising strategies:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
    • Identify and pursue diverse funding sources, including grants, donations, and corporate partnerships.

    Donor relations:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate donors.
    • Develop and implement donor cultivation plans to enhance long-term support.

    Collaboration with Marketing and Program Directors:

    • Work closely with the marketing team to create effective fundraising materials, newsletters, and online campaigns based on the Program Directors' intended goals.
    • Utilize various channels to promote fundraising efforts.

    Event Planning:

    • Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events, such as small—and large-scale events, charity runs, and other initiatives.
    • Coordinate logistics, secure sponsorships, and engage volunteers to ensure successful events.

    Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage budgets for fundraising activities, ensuring financial goals are met.
    • Monitor and report on fundraising progress, providing regular updates to the leadership team.
