    Description

    Attorneys with Swag (AWS) is seeking a Volunteer Video Podcast Editor to help refine and enhance our legal education video content. Our web series and podcast blend law, culture, and entertainment to make complex legal issues accessible and engaging for underserved communities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Edit 1 to 1.5-hour multi-camera podcast episodes (3-camera setup).
    • Use AI-assisted rough cuts as a starting point and refine them for cohesion and clarity.
    • Ensure audio-video sync, smooth transitions, and clean cuts.
    • Apply color correction and basic visual enhancements to improve the overall quality.
    • Work within our established branding style and creative direction.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
    • Familiarity with podcast editing and multi-camera workflows is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain consistency in edits.
    • Passion for social justice, law, and community-driven content is a bonus.

      • Preferred Formats:Work samples can be shared as links (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).
      • If a portfolio is not available, a brief written description of past editing experience is also acceptable.

    Additional Notes:

    • Experience with audio syncing, color correction, and basic motion graphics is a plus.
    • Familiarity with podcast AI-assisted rough cuts is helpful but not required.
    • Applicants should be comfortable working with 1 to 1.5-hour episodes in a 3-camera setup.
