We’re sliding into your inbox today because you’ve previously connected with our team at Girls on the Run Greater Connecticut. Another season of empowerment starts in September, and we hope you’ll join us. We know that you will experience as many meaningful moments as our participants. In a recent survey, 99% of coaches agreed that the coaching experience was valuable! Are you ready to join this new, exciting era of GOTR?!

As a GOTR coach this season, you will:

      • Build confidence in girls
      • Inspire participants to unlock confidence in others
      • Deepen your skills in communication, teamwork, and more
      • Become trained in leading small teams
      • Move in a way that’s right for you (No need to be a runner or athlete!)
      • Receive season-long support from your council and site liaison

While you make a difference, you’ll enrich your life, make positive connections, and serve as a role model to local youth. Our evidence-based curriculum includes lessons, activities, and movement-based games relevant to the needs of today’s girls. Consistency is essential for the program’s efficacy, so GOTR volunteer coaches must be available for practice twice a week for 75 to 90 minutes for 10 weeks beginning September 18th through December 8th.

We won't be able to offer the program in these communities if we don't find enough coaches. Please help us make a differene in the life of a young girl!
