    Description

    LifeTown is a unique setting located in New Albany, Ohio where students from schools all over the state of Ohio come to learn and practice real-life skills. The facility is a simulated town which includes several venues and "shops" that students visit during their time at LifeTown. LifeTown is home to a bank, salon, movie theater, pet shop, and more! While here, students follow a lesson and worksheet from our curriculum chosen by their teacher. Each lesson provides opportunities to learn financial literacy, time management, self-advocacy, social skills, and safety.

    We are in need of volunteers each day that we are open. We follow the typical school schedule and our students visit from 10am-12pm, Monday through Friday. We keep our VolunteerHub updated for volunteers to see which days are open and volunteers can choose which days work for them.

    We welcome community and corporate volunteer groups.
