Voices of Palestine Lead Video Editor

Voices of Palestine is a volunteer-driven, cross-platform media series hosted by and featuring Palestinians and accomplices dedicated to a #FreePalestine. We are preparing to air our 6th session on July 21 and seek the timely support of a passionate video editor to bring it to the world.

ROLE TITLE: Video Editor

Location: Global | Time commitment 10 hrs a week, immediately 

WHY (you)

• Help the Voices of Palestine be heard!
• Gain experience with a dynamic social justice initiative 
• Develop your design portfolio, Expand your worldview, and impact.

Role & Deliverables:

• Communicate with the team and be present and available during the video design process. 
• Work with a global program & marketing team to develop social media marketing assets
• Develop a brand-oriented original video concept and integrate it across platforms 
• Collaborate with creative team members to execute video projects and tasks:
• Main 1 hour Session for monthly launch event (featured on YouTube)
• 5-10 shorter segments and reels from the longer recordings

Skills: 

• Demonstrable video editing skills with a strong portfolio
• Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite 
• Creative versatility, and conceptual/visual ability in developing concepts, videos, and layouts
• Brand-oriented, strategic thinker with a desire to connect with a grassroots audience
• Willingness to learn and an openness to new experiences
