    Founded in 2001, Empowerment WORKS (EW) is Global Sustainability Think-Tank in Action promoting local solutions to address the most critical human and environmental issues of our time.

    In the world's most vulnerable, yet culturally rich communities, EW empowers local agents of change with the tools they need (access to markets, technologies and education) to build a thriving future.

    In the US, EW manifests positive social change through fiscal sponsorship and capacity building support to over 40 social entrepreneur led initiatives, and creative media & events promoting cross-cultural appreciation and environmental responsibility.

    Through our holistic mission, EW inspires citizens across the globe to realize the value of their existing knowledge, unique talents and collective potential to change the world.
