Foundation Communities is a local nonprofit dedicated to providing quality affordable housing and support services to families and individuals. We operate free after school programs at 12 Learning Centers all over Austin, including our Homestead Oaks (78748) and Trails at the Park (78748) Learning Centers.

We are seeking volunteers to provide general classroom support, as well as help our elementary-age students with math & science skills, reading, fitness, enrichment activities and social/emotional skills to thrive this spring and beyond!

Programs run Monday through Friday between 3:30pm and 6:00pm, with volunteer shifts available during that time. We can offer some flexibility for arrival and departure within these times. To start, volunteers commit to at least one regular shift per week for the term.

Volunteers must complete an online application, pass a background check (no cost to the volunteer), and complete an orientation course. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
